Description
A full pound of 16 gauge 7/32″ bright aluminum jump rings — more than 4,000 of them. This is the size most European 4-in-1 chainmail actually gets built from, and a pound is enough to carry a real project rather than a sample.
Why 7/32″ at 16 gauge
16 SWG wire (1.6mm / 0.063″) through a 7/32″ inner diameter gives an aspect ratio of about 3.5 — the tight end of European 4-in-1. Tight enough that the weave holds its shape and reads as real armor rather than mesh, open enough that it still closes without fighting you.
Gauge warning: “16 gauge” means two different wires depending on the standard. These are 16 SWG (0.063″), not 16 AWG (0.051″). Rings sold as 16 AWG at this diameter come out near AR 4.3 and will not match this weave. Every ring we ship in this size is SWG, from one source per batch, so a re-order matches the first one.
Bright aluminum: light in the hand, holds a clean silver finish, and forgiving to close by hand with two pairs of pliers.
