Description

Blue anodized aluminum jump rings, wound from 18 SWG wire at 5/16 inch inner diameter.

The color is anodized into the surface of the aluminum rather than painted onto it, so closing a ring with pliers will not chip it back to bare metal.

These rings run an aspect ratio of 6.8 — inner diameter divided by wire thickness. A wide-open ratio. Suits Japanese 12-in-2, scale attachment, dragonscale, and any weave where rings need room to sit at an angle.

Eighteen gauge is the crossover wire. Light enough for jewelry work and for hanging scales, stout enough for costume panels that will see real use.
